Felicity Jones is an British actress who is most well-known for her performance as Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of 12 and appeared in many plays, TV shows and film. Her career began with The television show The Treasure Seekers. Then she played the character in Ethel Hallow another television show that was titled The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. The film that she first appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in several movies. It was her acting in movies such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However it was her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' that earned her an Oscar nomination for the very first time. Jones was praised by all sides, including critics and viewers in her portrayal of Hawking's wife, who was his ex-wife, in"The Theory of Everything," a Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was her third film, which starred Tom Hanks. A group of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles has awarded Jones her the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary performance and contribution to film.
