Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When Richard Bruce Cheney was 13, he and his family moved from Lincoln Nebraska to Casper Wyoming which is where his father headed Casper Wyoming, where his father was the director of U.S. Department of Agriculture's local soil conservation districts.
