Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born 12 November 1961. She was the first Romanian to score a of 10 at the Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi discovered Comaneci when she was six. Later, she would become Romania's gymnastics coach. In 1969 she was a participant in the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. Three gold medals were awarded in her debut competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist-controlled countries. In 1973 as well as 1974, she became the junior all-around champion. In addition, she won four gold and one silver in her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was the first time she participated as an adult. In 1976, she took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and became the first woman in the history of sport to take off the parallel bars using double backwards salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey into the entertainment industry began during her teens when she began dancing as a figure skater with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol began her professional career as an entertainer when she was in her teens. At the age of 13, Carol began as a figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured ice-skating performance that was accompanied by musical theatre.
