Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 during an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi, a Romanian gymnastics teacher who later became Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci at the age of six. Comaneci participated for the first time in the national junior championships. She finished 13th. The following year she won the title of champion. At her first international contest in 1972, she took the top spot by winning three gold awards. Her debut as a Senior in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champ winning four golds and a silver. In 1976, she was the first female athlete in the world who used a double backwards salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment industry began during her teens when she began performing as a figure skater with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry during her teenage year. Her first job was as a figure skater performing with her twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. Ice Capades featured performances of skating on ice with actors.
