Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej Now Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born 12 November 1961. She was the first Romanian to score a of 10 in an Olympic contest. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics trainer who would become Comaneci's coach later on found her around the age of six. The year 1969 was the first time she participated in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. She won in 1970. In her 1972 first international meet that was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. In 1973 and 1975, she won crowned all-around Junior Champion. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals in her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an adult. The first female to perform a reverse double salo on the uneven parallel bar in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment business began during her teens, when she began performing as a figure skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in the entertainment business as a teenager. As a young girl she was a figure skating performer with Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. These shows were ice skating events that included theatrical performances.
